:) March update

Things are going pretty good now. I am really looking forward for spring and summer, mostly because Layla will be walking and probably saying some real words by then!And our Honeymoon is coming up!And I plan to spend a lot of time with the horses this season!I want to do cow penning and some local shows!I will probably do the team penning with Cinnamon and more showing for both english and western with Laudie,as she seems to enjoy it more! We are going up to Port Colborne again tomorrow, inlaws are still in Czech. I look forward to staying there more this season as well!Will train up Godiva as Ive been wanting to, and it'd be more fun for Layla to be on a farm,not in an apartment. I really miss the farm and just living in the country is definitly more for me!Live and learn :) And I am learning,that sometimes,you can go back, and there is sometimes a chance to change things for the better, as long as others cooperate.
I've been letting Layla have the occasional 'pony ride' on Laudie or Cinnamon!She absolutely LOVES it now!Shes so happy,and giggles and the last she was out on Laudie,she leaned over and gave Laudie a big hug!!!It was SOOO CUTE!...yes,this melts my heart and really makes me happy if she happens to love horses like I do. If she doesn't thats okay too.But I guess I really like to have the ones I love involved on something I am so passionate about!As it also makes it easier to be able to fully enjoy it and put more time into it. Mike isnt really into the horses, which sucks and I admit,slightly disapointing... But I wont force it and just accept that it's not his thing.
Layla loves the guitar too,so she may learn how to play guitar or piano someday,and horseback ride :) Im terrible,as Im already wanting to get her a pony.But I think I will only have that happen when shes old enough to understand it all and really really wants one,she will have to work for it.In the mean time,Cinny and Laudie she can play around on. :)
Im also very happy as Im doing so well in school so far!Im getting 100% in business management! =D yay me!!I was on honor role before in business.I really like the course and it's one of my favourite teachers too!! :) He keeps me on top of things and I always feel more confident and motivated in his classes.A really good teacher he is.

Gosh,in just a few months,Layla will be turning 1 years old!!! =o She gets cuter and cuter though!And is more fun,especially the stage shes at now!She really really loves piggyback rides!She knows when she can have one too,as I will sit down on the floor,and turn my back to her and she will crawl up so fast and stand up,cling onto my back and start to giggle and squirm for me to get moving!ahaha!Love her so much!Best baby girl ever!I dont really care to have more kids at this point though.Im more than happy with just Layla,but she probably would like a sibling.She very rarely gets the chance to interact with other kids,and has never gotten to with one around her age.Sure would be interesting though!!!

Today

It has been a nice day today!I got to sleep in a bit too!! =] I did chores when I got up,and started to prepare a stew to be ready by dinner time. My grandma sent me a stew recipe of my great grandmas =D It took for hours to bake in the oven,but it was really easy to make! Tomorrow I plan to make a roast beef :) Hopefully it'll turn out, Im not much for meat,I prefer just veggie meals though!During the day we just hung out at home, and I was amused by my Betta fish =P so funny,he tries to attack his reflection in the mirror! He seems like a happy fish so far!
Mike just went out to hang out with his friends tonight. Which is nice, as he needs time to himself too and socialize!So I hope he enjoys himself! :) I dont mind, it's just me and Layla tonight!So far shes sitting in her play chair,watching some cartoons. I didnt want her crawling around everywhere right after dinner =P Let her tummy settle first! I will put in some horse movies in a bit, not sure which one yet, and probably will give Layla a bath =) I stayed up until like 4am last night,texting my sister while she was doing a night shift!haha!I thought Id keep her some company =) And since I knew it was Mikes turn to get up in the morning,thought I could sleep in and rest. I feel very content and happy today =)
Another snow storm came unexpectedly today! So I dont think I will be going riding anytime soon. But I have another cold anyways...

Another blog

Just a random thought, that I'd like to eventually do some decorating of our place. Like painting the walls,put some colour in!As beige is such a blah colour... too neutral.. and would like to get more paintings on the walls,and better shelving, as I dont like the shelf we have now, its very long,which takes up room,and Layla can reach up onto it. Mike isnt really into the decorating, which kinda sucks. If we ever got a house, he wouldnt ''make it our own'', it'd be left the way it was day we get it,until Id make the changes happen =P
I plan to make a nice meal tonight, debating upon beef stew or roast beef... although, I just realized, I dont have a casarol dish =/ Two of them we had broke,and the last one I have is too small and no lid with it... I guess time to invest on one.
Debating about the honeymoon thing... Not sure if I want to even leave Layla here. I dont really trust leaving her behind without me with her so young still.. I would trust her with my sister or even my grandparents,but I dont think my grandparents would want to babysit..seemed they dont seem thrilled if we are to go on a honeymoon either..not sure why,but thats the impression I had anyway.. Seems no one Im close to is very fond of Mike... I know he can be a bit thick headed and apparently his attitude and puts off to be rude, but he says to me he dont think he is that way and sure dont mean to be..

A lot of snow came past day or so, it looks pretty but it sucks as I cant really go riding! At least I got to ride Cinnamon over the weekend and on Tuesday right before the storm came. Was nice how I got to go out on the trails,and this time had Barley come along!

Im debating on going out tonight, as I havent gone out in a while, but we'll see. It's unlikely my friends will be going out. But maybe I can just go and meet new people, as that is normally what I do when I go out with friends, I endup venturing the club on my own and meeting new people. But most who are at the clubs/bars are interested on just making another friend,especially to a married person... =/ But I have made a few friends from a club.

Being back in KW hasnt been as great as I figured it would... most of our group of friends have parted.. and seems finances were better when we had the farm, especiall through the winter time. Oh well, kinda just taking things day by day and hope it will work out..

Memory Box.

Was looking through some old photos and report cards from when I was little!But the funniest thing was my Journals and Diarys. =P Im glad I kept a diary,because it's fun to randomly look back and read what had happened,but because it was more personal than a blog,I really put my heart out on paper.But I was just a kid,so it was just funny the things I'd day.And wow,I sure didnt know how to spell!haha!Mike and I were giggling quite a bit over it. =P One thing Im really happy about is how one of my best friends from way back when,is still a close friend of mine today!Shes so great,and easy to talk to and always fun to be around.Shes not judgemental and gives me positive outlook on things, and she is so darn smart!Apparently we used to be enemies..I didnt like her at first,because she was ''stealling'' my best friend!aha!So I got jealous...But then I accepted her,and so I had TWO best friends ;) ahaha. So much great things happened at our school,Harold W. Wagner. We were all pretty darn upset when they made that dumb school,Lester B. Pearson, and changed Harold W. Wagner into a french school =( Really sucked...

I also wrote about life at home,like my sisters, all the pets I had and random adventures!I remember things so clearly,but I guess it didnt happen THAT long ago for me to forget yet ;P

So fun being a kid, I wish I could be a kid all over again =P Way more fun!aha!

Being Sick Sucks!

Well, I went to my doctor today, had to get an xray done. Good chance I have pneumonia. Im starting to feel worse as the days go by,its going on 4 weeks with this.. Hopefully I can recover sooner than later. I just hope Layla or Mike do not get it. Im taking precaution when I cough, and wash my hands a lot.I always had washed my hands frequently though.
I miss the horses,but I cant be outside for very long and the dust particles in a barn,sure wont help my lungs... =(

Thoughts.

I have so much I want to say to my dad. It's on my mind all the time. My view on things have changed dramatically... I never thought I'd see the day where I'd step down and admit that I was at fault and was wrong on things.. It is time I do the right thing, and the sooner the better. I'm not expecting anything great to happen out of it, but I just want to let him know what I think and how I really feel now. I have grown up and my daughter has taught me so much. Layla has really opened my eyes, given me a different perspective on particular things in life. Im thankful for that, because I have some hope that someday things will be better.

Today :)

I cut my hair today!My bangs anyway, as I am keeping my nice long hair =) It turned out really good!I used to always have straight cut bangs,but wanted to follow everyone elses style with the side bangs back in the day =P It's always refreshing and nice to change up hair style. Sometimes just makes me feel refreshed! I never go to hair dresser... Im too cheap!! LOL. But I find hair dressers never do it the way I'd like it anyways.I've been doing it myself the past like 5 years now,and I havent messed it up badly, luckily. Although, its just hair,will grow back!

Went to the barn this evening again. =) Layla was content,so I was able to groom Cinnamon and Laudie. Also mucked their stalls. We werent out as long today though, because I didnt bother going in the paddock trying to catch Laudie.. Just waited until the gait was opened for them to go into the barn. So I haltered her when she got into the barn and walked her in her stall. Mike dont really like going out to the barn so often, but he does it for me at least. Otherwise, we wouldnt do anything at all... The barn is nice, get to be outside in the freshair, and it's good for Layla as well =) Although, Layla seems to like the mall more than the barn, but thats probably because there is more bright lights and things to look at, colourful things. haha.

I really have to crack down on my assignments/summative... not many days left to get it all done.. sigh.. I never liked school.. but Im so close, I have to get this finished, otherwise I would have wasted so much time!
